My jaw literally dropped … WOW!
Denzel Clarke, an outfielder for the Athletics, made an absolutely insane catch Monday night. And to make it even better, it’s the second wild catch that he’s made in just days. You can see the video of that play here.
The game was between the Athletics and Los Angeles Angels, with the latter playing host in Anaheim. And it didn’t take long for the juice to get going, as Clarke made an absolutely incredible catch in the first inning in robbery of Los Angeles first baseman Nolan Schanuel. At first, it appeared that the shot to deep center field was guaranteed to be a home run, but nope.
Clarke jumped so high that it looked like he was in an NBA game, literally getting so high that his entire body was on top of the wall to steal the homer away. If Schanuel would’ve landed the HR, it would have been his fourth of the season.
It was such an unbelievable catch that you have to see it to actually believe it, it’s outrageous! (RELATED: The Most Selfish Owners In Sports Are Sinking To A New Low)

Makes me want to get a Denzel Clarke jersey, not even gonna lie.
The Athletics were based in Oakland for years. Now, they just go by the Athletics as they play in West Sacramento, California, and the ownership plans to relocate to Las Vegas.
