Carlos Santana was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance Tuesday after suffering a medical emergency took place prior to a concert in San Antonio, Texas, his representative told TMZ
The legendary musician was doing a sound check at the Majestic Theater, sources told the outlet. The San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD) said they responded at approximately 6 p.m. Eastern Time to a call about an elderly patient who had fainted. The SSAFD took the patient to the hospital with a non life-threatening condition and Santana’s representative told TMZ the event was postponed.
Footage obtained by the outlet appears to show EMTs transporting Santana on a stretcher.

A Santana representative told TMZ that they suspect Santana’s medical emergency was the result of dehydration. The insider said the star is hospitalized for additional testing and later said he was doing well but remained under observation. They noted the famous musician is intends to return to San Antonio and resume his U.S. Tour.
The source told TMZ that Santana’s team is working on rescheduling the San Antonio concert date.

Santana is slated to perform shows Friday and Saturday amid his 2025 Oneness Tour.
