Calum MacColl is well-known as a BBC Scotland weather reporter – and has now revealed his musical talents live on air.
He broke into song on Friday’s Reporting Scotland, singing the Gaelic song that won him a gold medal at the Royal National Mòd in 2021.
Presenter Sally Magnusson danced in the studio during the performance before Calum seamlessly switched into presenting mode.
The Royal National Mòd is organised by An Comunn Gàidhealach (The Highland Association) which was founded in Oban in 1891.
Famous for celebrating Gaelic linguistic and cultural heritage, the festival showcases a range of competitive disciplines including Gaelic music and song, highland dancing, instrumental, drama, sport and literature.
This year, the Mòd takes place in Oban and Argyll, and runs from 11-19 October.
