What on earth are we doing, Chicago?

Heading into Week 11, the Chicago Bears were looking at a scenario where they haven’t landed a win against their rival Green Bay Packers since the 2018 season, losing 10 consecutive games against the franchise. Well, things didn’t get any better Sunday, as Chicago once again took an L to Green Bay to bring their losing streak to 11. And to make matters worse for the Bears, it came in disastrous fashion.

Facing a 20-19 deficit, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams took his team down the field into field goal range, with the clutch drive featuring a grade-A fourth down throw to another rookie in wide receiver Rome Odunze to keep their chances of a victory alive.

But the Bears’ coaching staff showed their ass, and tremendously.

With 35 seconds remaining on the clock and having a timeout left while being first-and-10 on the Packers’ 30, you would think Chicago would use that leverage to get a much closer field goal, and possibly even score a touchdown. But no, the Bears only managed one play, and it was a measly 2-yard run.

They then brought out kicker Cairo Santos to attempt a 46-yard field goal, and things just went completely down the toilet from there as it ended up being blocked — Packers win (again).

And this is Chicago Bears football, baby.
