America has made it clear: They’re loving the Patrick Mahomes x Josh Allen rivalry.
It’s like what they say, numbers don’t lie, and it was mammoth numbers brought in by Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills in terms of television ratings. For the national broadcast that was televised on CBS, the game pulled in an incredible average audience of 31.2 million viewers. In fact, that number is so high that it’s the most-watched NFL game in the regular season since 2007, that’s nearly 20 freakin’ years ago! This is excluding games that have been played on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, of course, you ain’t competing with those holiday games.
But still, the numbers are impressive, especially when you consider the game has the No. 4 ranking for the most-watched nationally televised contest since 1988. And not just that, but it also comes in the top 10 for most-viewed regular season games in any broadcasting window, ever. (But again, without Thanksgiving games being in the mix)
MASSIVE number for Chiefs-Bills in the national window
31.2 million viewers on CBS. Outside Thanksgiving/Xmas, best NFL regular season game since CBS’ Pats-Colts Week 9 in 2007 (33.8 million).

Good for the Bills in particular, getting the dub and pulling in ratings, but I do have one question: Can you guys beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, or is this just a regular season thing?
