Burglars have reportedly targeted the homes of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
Documents obtained from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said a robbery at Mahomes’ luxurious Belton, Missouri mansion was reported to them at roughly midnight, Oct. 6, according to TMZ. Sources close to the situation said Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas mansion was broken into on Oct 7. Kelce’s residence was burglarized at approximately 7:33 p.m., according to a police report.
That was the day the Chiefs played the New Orleans Saints in a “Monday Night Football” matchup at Arrowhead stadium, according to TMZ. $20,000 cash was taken from Kelce’s residence and his back door was damaged in the incident, the police report alleged.
A police operations log appeared to show that a break-and-enter at Kelce’s residence was reported Oct. 8, according to TMZ.
It’s unclear if anything else was allegedly taken from Kelce’s home. There was no information provided as whether anything was taken from Mahomes’ residence during the alleged break-in there.
Sources close to the situation believe the two incidents may have been a portion of a grander alleged crime spree in the area, the outlet reported. There as been no suspect information reported, and no indication of any arrests made at this time.
Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, showed up for the 26-13 victory Oct.7.
The famous athlete took extra measures to safeguard his privacy after their relationship went public, and moved into his $6 million Leaside property.
Neither of the famous football players have issued public statements. It’s unclear if anyone was home at the time of the alleged break-ins or who phoned police to report the incidents.
