Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson is currently out of action due to an injury, so starting in his place against the Dallas Cowboys on “Monday Night Football” was Cade York. And don’t worry if you don’t know who he is, because you’re about to find him, his girlfriend and this entire story incredibly cool.
Heading into the game, York was already a main player despite being a kicker, and that’s because of his girlfriend (named Zoe Dale) being a Cowboys cheerleader. The magic from their relationship showed quickly, with York knocking down his first field goal and Dale responding by cheering for her man — and against the team she’s supposed to be on the side of. “Praise God,” said Dale after looking unbelievably nervous during the kick. “Praise God.”
And to make it even cooler, Dale got baptized right before York got signed by the Bengals to play on “MNF.”
“She got baptized on Sunday. So it was awesome getting to do that, and all her teammates got to come watch,” said York, per OutKick. “And then, literally, the next day I get a call that I’m going to work out for the Bengals, and they’re playing on Monday, and I was like, ‘Well, Zoe, I will see you at home no matter what.’ So yeah, it’s pretty cool.”
Bengals kicker and Dallas native Cade York drills they extra point, despite a delay of game penalty.

Such a cool story about a Christian couple, something that we need more of.
