When it comes to sensitive issues and topics of debate (and his play on the field while we’re at it), New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers certainly isn’t scared to share his opinion, and when it comes to critics of his opinion, the man doesn’t do anything but double down.
Take a recent edition of “The Pat McAfee Show,” for example, where Rodgers went on the broadcast to shoot back at his critics amid a brewing beef that he has with multiple ESPN analysts. Making his weekly appearance, per usual, Rodgers decided to drop a “PSA” before he left the program. “I know I gotta say this multiple times because people don’t listen. Say whatever the f*ck you want about me, I don’t care. But before you do it, whether you state your name, your accolades, pronouns, whatever it is, state your vax status,” said Rodgers. “So, that anything you say afterward gets put in the right light. Just get it out there.
“Because then when you say things about me, people can at least like, ‘Oh, you are captured by the multibillion-dollar propaganda psy-op, and you’re still upset about it.’”
The rant from Rodgers comes after tension thickened between the quarterback and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark, who won a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers in his playing days. Rodgers criticized ESPN and its programming, which led to Clark blasting QB8 as a “fraud.”
