The sister of a woman accused in the killing and dismemberment of her mother filed a protective order against their brother, blaming him for the alleged murder.
Torilena Fields is charged with multiple crimes, including murder and abuse of a corpse relating to the death of her mother Trudy Fields, WCPO reported Tuesday. The alleged murder occurred Oct. 9 in Robertson County, Kentucky.

“My mother was butchered by my sister under his advisement,” the petition reportedly stated. The document alleges Truitt threatened the lives of Telby and their mother, according to WCPO.
Truitt allegedly threatened to kill his sister Telby to “claim his ‘birthright’ as the firstborn,” according to the petition.
The order was granted and Truitt is prohibited from going near Telby and attending Trudy Fields’ funeral, documents show.
Earlier this month, a man found a blood-stained mattress and “drag marks” in the grass on Trudy Fields’ property, WCPO reported. He followed the marks and discovered the woman’s dismembered body lying on the grass, according to the outlet. The Kentucky State Police Special Response Team arrived at the scene and obtained a search warrant, the outlet reported.
Torilena was reportedly removed from the home, according to KSP. Law enforcement stated Torilena’s hands, face, and clothes appeared to have blood on them.

In a new indictment, Torilena was accused of murder and issued a charge pertaining to torturing a dog, WCPO reported.
