The District Attorney in Beverly Hills decided not to prosecute Francesca Eastwood, daughter of legendary actor Clint Eastwood, on charges of felony domestic violence, sources told TMZ.
Sources said Eastwood will not face prosecution in relation to an incident involving her boyfriend that dates back to mid-October, according to TMZ. The 31-year-old actress was arrested after she allegedly had a physical altercation with her boyfriend while driving in Beverly Hills. Sources close to the situation said Eastwood’s boyfriend called for police assistance, and they suggested that he drive to the police station. Police allegedly observed physical injuries on Eastwood’s boyfriend’s body during their discussions with the couple and proceeded to arrest the famous actress, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the District Attorney made the decision not to try the case in October. They claimed insufficient evidence was the reason the case was not tried. The insider said Eastwood’s boyfriend declined medical assistance while speaking with officers at the police station and would not work with law enforcement.
Eastwood was released on $50,000 bail, according to TMZ.
Eastwood has enjoyed a successful acting career and has appeared in a number of credits, including her father’s movie, “True Crime,” as well as “Jersey Boys,” “Old” and “Juror #2.” She recently starred in the sports biopic “Queen of the Ring,” which was released for film festivals in October.
Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) Lt. Andrew Myers said officers answered a call for a potential domestic violence incident at a safety zone in their main office, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“Officers conducted an investigation, and based on statements and injuries, Francesca Ruth Fisher Eastwood of Los Angeles was arrested for a felony, PC 273.5 – Domestic Violence, and was booked at BHPD Jail,” Myers told the outlet.

Los Angeles County Superior Court records indicate the famous actor’s daughter was previously arrested on DUI charges in 2015, according to the Los Angeles Times. That case was thrown out after she pleaded no contest.
