Everybody needs to pile on! Ian and Jordan deserve it for this clown ish!
Rather than just being simple counterparts, Ian Rapoport and Jordan Schultz have chosen the path of being opps. And that’s been on full display at the NFL Combine and has everybody in the sports world talking.
Sometime during the day Wednesday, Fox Sports insider Jordan Schultz reportedly confronted NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport at a Starbucks in an Indianapolis hotel. Schultz was irritated that Rapoport contradicted his report, via social media, about the alleged meeting that took place between Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford.
Things eventually escalated to Schultz swearing at Rapoport, which led Rapoport to call NFL Security, which caused NFL Security to launch an investigation. Yes, an INVESTIGATION. I still can’t get over this clownshow. (RELATED: What A Clownshow: NFL Insiders Reportedly Get Into Heated In-Person Confrontation Following Back-And-Forth Online)
Well, the crew of TNT’s “Inside the NBA” caught whiff of the situation and decided to speak about it on the Thursday edition of their show.
“I was at Starbucks today,” said Charles Barkley to Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith. “It’s dangerous in there, Ernie. Fists were flying everywhere. I don’t normally go to Starbucks, ’cause that’s where rich, white folks go.”
Everybody, including the producers, busted out laughing.
