As a Dolphins fan, I can tell you that the Colts are weak as hell for this — stick to your guns!
When it comes to schedule release videos, NFL teams have gotten competitive against each other to win over fans. Look at the Los Angeles Chargers, for example. They’re viewed as entertaining, innovative and at the top of the schedule release game right now, and as a result, everybody and their mother has been giving them kudos, and for years now. That’s what franchises want at this time of the year.
But that desperation got the Indianapolis Colts placed in hot water.
Their schedule release video was centered around a Minecraft theme, and they published it Wednesday evening to X. However, it wasn’t even a full hour before the franchise deleted the clip, OutKick reported. (RELATED: Los Angeles Chargers Executive Absolutely Cooks CNN After Ridiculously Sensitive Question)
But why?
Well, nobody knows for sure and the Colts haven’t said anything publicly about it, but it most likely has to do with their reference to Miami Dolphins’ superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his arrest during the 2024 season.
During the clip, it was revealed that the Colts have their regular season-opener against the Miami Dolphins, and they did this by depicting Hill as an actual dolphin swimming in the water. All of a sudden, the Coast Guard rolls up on him, which was a clear reference to Hill being stopped by police outside of Miami-Dade County’s Hard Rock Stadium and placed under arrest before the Phins‘ season opener in 2024.
Shortly after, it was deleted by the Colts. You can watch the video here.

They shoulda stuck to their guns, especially with how dumb the video was — you could have at least not looked WEAK!
