EXCLUSIVE — As Congress irons out reconciliation legislation to push through President Donald Trump‘s agenda, a conservative nonprofit organization is launching a paid media campaign imploring Republicans to keep current tax cuts.

The Tax Cut Protection Project is a seven-figure campaign that includes events, paid media, and a launch video that will be featured throughout the nation.

Plymouth Union Public Advocacy, a company founded by former heads of the Republican Governors Association, the Republican State Leadership Committee, and the Republican Attorneys General Association, is the driving source behind the effort to support Trump’s “affordability agenda.”

“Conservatives are back in charge at all levels of government and that means America is back on the road to economic prosperity. Thanks to President Trump’s policies, working families will once again receive the relief they deserve and be given a chance to achieve the American dream,” said group board member Dee Duncan. “PUP Advocacy is excited to begin this new effort dedicated to supporting President Trump in his goals to make America affordable and prosperous again in this new Golden Age.”

One 48-second video the group plans to disseminate online claims Trump had a “mandate” to fix the nation’s economic crisis.

“President Trump’s affordability agenda is broad, bold, and it will work. No tax on our tips, our overtime, our Social Security,” the narrator says. “And he won’t let Congress raise taxes on our income or on our health insurance. In fact, he’ll extend the Trump tax cuts to unleash our economy and make America great again.”

The president campaigned on ending taxation on tips, overtime, and Social Security, part of his efforts to reform the nation’s economy before he won the White House in November.

Trump has made it clear to congressional leaders that those policies must be included in any reconciliation legislation that moves forward, as well as extending his 2017 tax cut bill.

This week, the House Budget Committee released a budget framework for a one-bill reconciliation approach that would include $4.5 trillion in tax cuts below the amount it would take to renew the 2017 tax cuts.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is working on a separate resolution that does not include tax reform, setting up a showdown with the House.
