Country star Brantley Gilbert interrupted his concert Friday night to help his wife, Amber, give birth on his tour bus.
Gilbert revealed in a video posted to Instagram he was rushed offstage due to an “emergency” while in the middle of a show at Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi. The video shows the 39-year-old singer walk backstage before appearing on the tour bus, followed by clips of his wife and newborn son.
“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”
The “Bottom Up” singer shared a clip of him on the phone with his mother, who asked how he was doing. “Not as good as you are about to be. You got a new grandbaby,” Gilbert replied.
Gilbert’s mother then asked about his wife after expressing her own excitement, to which he exclaimed she was “a freaking savage.”
“Well, I’m going to go finish the show. I’ll Facetime you later,” he then told his mom. (RELATED: ‘F*ck That’: Country Star Brantley Gilbert Interrupts Concert To Smash Bud Light Can).
As he returned onstage, Gilbert announced, “We got a baby!” prompting the crowd to erupt in cheers.
“We’ve got a new addition to the Gilbert family … God is good,” Gilbert posted to Instagram.

The parents did not immediately disclose the name of their third child.
