You know it’s bad when the sports agency drops the player …

New York Jets defensive end Haason Reddick has been dropped by his sports agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), after racking up over $5 million in fines due to not reporting to the team, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Reddick is currently holding out from the franchise.

The Jets secured Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles via trade over the offseason. (RELATED: Jeff Ulbrich Already Exercising His Authority By Slapping Away Play Calling Responsibilities From Nathaniel Hackett)

Reddick was coming into the last season of his three-year, $45 million contract and was slated to make $14.25 million in non-guaranteed money in the 2024 campaign. For every game that Reddick doesn’t play, he’s giving up around $800,000 each, which adds to his $5 million in fines — it exceeded over $2 million after he missed the entirety of training camp.

“Haason, get in your car, drive down [Interstate] 95 and come to the New York Jets,” said Jets owner Woody Johnson. “We can meet you and give you an escort right into the building and you’ll fit right in. And you’re going to love it here and you’re going to feel welcome and you’re going to accomplish great things with us.”

The Jets currently sit at 2-3 on the season.

This is wild, but I can’t say much considering the ignorance going on in Miami right now.

Thank God for the Miami Hurricanes … I can’t say it enough.
