A history-making moment that made me outright smile.

It’s official: Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his son, Bronny, are the first father-son duo ever to play together in an NBA game in the entire history of the league.

This plan has been in the works for years, and was accomplished at the 2024 NBA Draft when the Lakers selected Bronny. And then Tuesday night in their season-opening contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the ultimate magic happened when they walked on the same court together. LeBron, per usual, was in the starting lineup, and Bronny eventually made his appearance in the second quarter with four minutes to go in the half. The two received a standing ovation when they checked in at the same time.

LeBron finished with a stat line of 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Bronny had one rebound in just three minutes of play.

How can you not love this?

Truly some incredible stuff, and makes LeBron quite likable — especially considering he’s on my fantasy basketball team (Go Las Vegas 51s!).
