What the hell, Nike? (If the allegations are true.)

As a fan of Air Force 1’s and the Jordan brand, it’s sad to see what Nike has become with all of their left-wing shenanigans, and as I reported on recently, there’s allegedly another one in the works.

It’s alleged that the iconic American company has been funding a five-year study that examines puberty blockers, as well as hormone therapy, and the affect that it has on the athleticism of transgender children. And their alleged goal: To figure out if boys who are medically transitioning at a young enough age can have their performance close to that of female counterparts.

Both Dr. Marc Siegel and Dr. Nicole Saphier are supportive when it comes to compassion for youth that are considered gender-dysphoric, but despite that, they’re warning about medical risks that are involved, as well as ethical issues and bias towards ideology.

The physicians also talked about how males having the athletic edge probably wouldn’t be taken out of the equation with hormone therapy. And it doesn’t matter how young the child is when they receive treatment, the advantage will always be there. With Dr. Siegel, he noted that males are loaded with more testosterone than females are even when it comes to utero, which is way before puberty starts. switching up development that hormone suppression may not be able to change back.

“I would still be concerned about a competitive advantage in people that are born male, even if they transition over to female — because of skeletal type, because of body type,” Siegel told OutKick. “I would be very expectant that a competitive advantage would be retained.”

Dr. Saphier stated that she is “deeply concerned” by the allegations surrounding Nike.

“The potential physical and mental health risks of these interventions, especially in young, developing bodies, cannot be overstated,” said Saphier. “Puberty is a critical window for growth, bone density, and emotional maturation, and altering it with hormone blockers can lead to irreversible consequences — ranging from weakened skeletal health and infertility to heightened anxiety and depression.”

I feel like we need a public statement from Nike at this point … give it to us, boys!
