The 2024 edition of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees might have only lasted five games, but America clearly took advantage of the historic Fall Classic with incredible television ratings being drawn in.
Across the platforms of Fox, Fox Deportes and Fox’s streaming services, Game 5 registered a whopping average of 18.6 million television viewers, according to an announcement Thursday night from Fox Sports Communications and Public Relations. The numbers are history-making, with the 18.6M figure making the Yankees-Dodgers Game 5 the most-viewed since the 2017 World Series.
