Led by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), the DOGE House Subcommittee has launched an investigation into USA Fencing for still going against the executive order from President Donald Trump that banned transgender (biological male) athletes from being able to participate in female sports.

“The DOGE Committee’s investigation into USA Fencing is long overdue. Let’s be clear: Allowing biological males to dominate women’s sports isn’t “inclusivity”—it’s systemic fraud,” wrote the Subcommittee on social media.
USA Fencing got placed in boiling water in April when a woman named Stephanie Turner outright refused to take on trans opponent Redmond Sullivan in a female fencing matchup. Rather than participate, Turner decided to take a knee in protest.
As a result, Turner was issued a “black card” for her action, which is the highest penalty in the sport of fencing. Due to the black card, Turner was disqualified from the event, and even escorted out of the building by security.
The DOGE Committee’s investigation into USA Fencing is long overdue. Let’s be clear: Allowing biological males to dominate women’s sports isn’t “inclusivity”—it’s systemic fraud. Stephanie Turner’s disqualification for refusing to face a male opponent exposed the rot.
