Eminem stayed true to his roots by marking a milestone moment with the release of a new music video.
The legendary rapper announced that he’s going to be a grandfather by dropping a new video for his single “Temporary.” The clip is an emotionally charged tear-jerker that reveals Eminem’s beloved daughter Hailie Jade Scott is expecting her first child. The central scene in the video showed Eminem and Hailie sitting on the stairs of a porch while she hands him a custom Detroit Lions jersey that says “Grandpa” on the back.
The big news reveal also included a proud moment as Hailie passed her famous father a sonogram of her child and he holds it up toward the camera with a look of sheer astonishment on his face.
The video goes on to show home movies from the past that show Hailie’s childhood interactions with Eminem. The video clips include audio and capture the tender moments between father and child as they journeyed past a life of poverty and into the life they know now. The clips from the past show Eminem’s outpouring of love for Hailie, who has been the center of a number of his hit songs over the course of his decades-long career in the music industry.

It’s not clear how far along Hailey is in her pregnancy, and there was no mention made of the baby’s gender.
