Former Mumford & Sons guitarist Winston Marshall slammed the music industry’s silence following the antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado.

The famous musician said it was “very dark to see this happening in America” and that he was “disappointed” by the industry’s failure to leverage their platform to condemn Hamas.

“I’m a little bit emotional about it,” Marshall said in the June 2 episode of “Fox & Friends First.” Marshall called the attack “very horrific” and noted it was “unsurprising,” after the murders of two Jewish people who were Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., and the general increase in violence against Jews.

“My frustration isn’t just at the horrific things that we see, but the failure by certain parts of the country to acknowledge it’s even happening,” Marshall told the outlet.

Marshall spoke out about the recent “far-left” violence, and questioned why more wasn’t being done.

“What do you think they mean when they say, ‘globalize the Intifada?” he asked.

“What do you think they mean when they say, ‘from the river to the sea,’” he continued.

“If you have these big groups chanting this, then there will be individuals like this case in Boulder who will actually act on it.”

Taking aim at fellow musicians who embraced pro-Palestine messaging, Marshall said, “I’m disappointed by also the reaction in the music industry where I have spent my career.”

“I should also note there are 58 hostages still in Gaza, 23 of whom are still presumed alive. Why is it that these protesters aren’t protesting against Hamas?”

“If you are pro-Palestine, you should be anti-Hamas. If you’re pro-Israel, you should be anti-Hamas. Hamas are literally killing Palestinians themselves. It seems like a complete moral inversion, and I don’t quite know how [to] get into that frame of mind because it’s so twisted to me.”

The famous musician didn’t specify which artists he was addressing in his statement, but his comments came shortly after Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons, wrapped himself in a Palestinian flag during his concert in Milan, Italy, and rap group Kneecap projected antisemitic messaging on stage during their Coachella performance. Egyptian national Mohamed Sabry Soliman was arrested  Sunday after allegedly yelling “Free Palestine” and other anti-Israel slogans while setting victims on fire at a rally held in support of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
