LMAO … definitely makes the list for “funniest lawsuits of 2025.”

A man in Colorado has slapped the Rockies organization with a lawsuit after he suffered “catastrophic and permanent injuries” following being hit with a foul ball on the right eye in a July 16, 2023 game against the New York Yankees at Coors Field, according to a report from the Denver Post.

Timothy Roeckel, the name of the fan, was the owner’s guest in a luxury box when all of a sudden he was popped during first inning action.

In the suit, Roeckel alleges that the luxury box has “architectural elements” that made it impossible to locate the foul ball coming at him. Roeckel also makes the claim that Colorado’s trash a** play was a factor of why the foul ball hit him, because get this, it was easy not to watch the game due to how horrible they are. Absolutely incredible. (RELATED: Red Sox Gloriously Honor Freed Hamas Hostage, Omer Shem Tov, On Jewish Heritage Night)

“Defendant’s longstanding poor performance on the field (has) contributed to a game-day environment in which spectators, particularly those in luxury suites, are less engaged with the action on the field,” wrote Nielsen Weisz lawyers, per the Denver Post.

In his case, Roeckel is looking for a jury trial and wants damages covered with a financial payment not specified.

At the time of Roeckel’s injury, Colorado had a 35-58 record and were on the way to their first 100-loss campaign ever.

Just imagine being a Colorado Rockies fan… ROUGH!!
