Several football fans chanted “U-S-A” as Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump attended the primetime NFL game Sunday night between the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fresh from a campaign rally Saturday in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump received some applause at the Acrisure Stadium. The crowd of mostly Steelers fans loudly chanted, “U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!,” as Trump pumped his fist with encouragement, video posted by Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy director of communications, shows.

“The 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, is in attendance tonight. Invited guest of one of the suite holders here,” NBC’s Sunday Night Football play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico said during the broadcast while showing Trump and then a birds-eye view of the stadium.

“LET’S GO!” Trump adviser Steven Cheung wrote on Twitter with an overview shot of the crowd.

Toward the end of the game, one woman ran into the field with a sign that read, “Trump: Secure Border. Kamala: Open Border.”

Video shows four men chasing the Trump super fan, a long-haired woman dressed in thigh-high boots and a yellow bra, then ushering her off the field.

Former Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who spoke at Trump’s Latrobe rally and endorsed the former president, was waiting for Trump as he touched down at the tarmac. (RELATED: Biden Will Not Appear With Kamala Harris Before Election Day: REPORT)

Brown, dressed in MAGA gear, was joined by other Steelers fans as he handed out yellow and black towels with “Trump/Vance” written on them ahead of the game.

The U.S. Secret Service released a statement detailing the extra security measures at the game, CBS News reported.

“Today, former President Trump is receiving the highest protection the Secret Service can provide. The agency adjusts and enhances our protective posture to mitigate evolving threats. We’re working closely with our local law enforcement partners in Pittsburgh to minimize disruptions while ensuring the highest level of safety and security for the former president.”

Prior to the game, Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself as a player for the Steelers. The Republican candidate later complained about the NFL’s changes to kickoffs.

“I hated seeing what the NFL did with the kickoff return. Saw it tonight at the Steelers/Jets game. When you have something that works, don’t ‘tinker’ with it, you may end up with nothing!” Trump wrote after attending the game.

“Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight. November 5th will be the most important day in the history of our Country! MAGA2024!!!” the GOP nominee wrote.
