So we should let Iran continue to bully and eventually nuke the world? … Nah.
Zack Cozart, a former shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Angels, was a huge supporter of President Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign that saw 45/47 defeat ex-Vice President Kamala Harris in blow-away fashion.
However, Cozart has now pulled in his support a little bit, doing so Monday as Trump advised Iranians to evacuate Tehran as the tension between Iran and Israel continues to grow and get more violent.
“If Trump gets us in a war, I will no longer support him, and I’m sure most of you know I love Trump,” said Cozart in a Twitter post. (RELATED: Bucks’ Doc Rivers Criticizes Democratic Party For Not Doing ‘Some Things Republicans Do Well’)
Happening in Canada, the president left the G7 summit Monday night due to the warfare going on between Iran and Israel. Trump had also requested a meeting in the situation room with the National Security Council for when he got back, according to Fox News.
“Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life,” posted the president on Truth Social. “Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
And that’s where Cozart decided to draw the line.
