This is the Giants’ season in a nutshell.
In the “Monday Night Football” contest between the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers, the former’s running back Tyron Tracy Jr. shot out the cannon for a 45-yard touchdown run to bring the G-Men’s deficit down to 23-15. And though that’s all fine and dandy, things went south quickly for New York after the fact when they decided to go for a two-point conversion. It ended up being the worst attempt of all-time … easily.
The Giants set themselves up in an unusual shotgun formation, having a group of blockers in front of wide receiver Malik Nabers, except … the blockers weren’t actually blockers, or something like that. When quarterback Daniel Jones snapped the ball, he threw it over to Nabers, who was instantly hit by Steelers defenders with the referees blowing the ball dead before things got too vicious. Nabers’ teammates who had a wall placed ahead of him just stood there, not even trying to block, it was an absolutely stunning sight to witness.

But there’s a silver lining: It gave us this absolute gem from Peyton and Eli’s “Manningcast” (I’m referring to Eli’s severely stunned face, lmao).
