Nooo! Not our man John!
Recently, golf legend John Daly was forced to undergo emergency hand surgery, with the pure American legend sharing the nerve-racking news on his Instagram that showed a photo of him from a Florida hospital.
“Emergency hand surgery… thankful [it] went great and Doc McClimans for taking care of me. Be back playing in no time!” wrote Daly.
Tagged from the location Tampa, Florida, another post had Daly expressing his gratitude to the health professionals who performed his operation. He then followed that up by vowing to return to the golf course “soon.” (RELATED: Southern California Golf Course Just Down The Road From Rose Bowl Stadium Destroyed By Wildfires)
“Thank you to Doc McClimans for getting me mended back!” wrote Daly. “Should be hitting em again soon! Thx for all the messages.”
Daly also received some love from PGA Tour Champions.
“Wishing John Daly a speedy recovery!” tweeted the tour meant for golfers that are 50 years and older.
I think we’re all in agreement that nothing can happen to John Daly, he’s way too valuable for the sport of golf.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m very well aware that we all have an expiration date and are going to die someday, but John Daly is just one of those people that needs to stick around for awhile. After this whole situation, I don’t want to see the words “John Daly” and “emergency surgery” in the same headline ever again. Do you realize how dreadful it was writing this piece because of my John Daly fandom?
Get out of the bed and back on the green, Mr. Daly! I can’t handle it!
