Oh, JJ. Never change.
Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick wasn’t a fan at all of NBA All-Star Weekend, and he couldn’t have been more blunt about it.
Speaking with the media Tuesday, Redick was questioned about his thoughts regarding the 2025 All-Star Game, and let’s just say … nobody was confused about where he stood after he answered. (RELATED: NBA All-Star Game Ratings Are So Historically Bad It Nearly Broke Worst All-Time Record)
“I didn’t watch any of that sh*t,” responded Redick, according to Lakers Nation.
Ready to change the format yet, NBA?

I have written so many blogs on the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off from so many angles, while the couple of stories about NBA All-Star Weekend have been negative.
So with this being the case, with an international tournament being so successful for the NHL, wouldn’t you want to replicate that success if you’re the NBA?
Who cares about “copycat” accusations, everybody is a copycat in this unoriginal world. I want an international tournament! Just imagine an NBA All-Star period where we had nations going at it for something that actually has value. You’d easily be looking at the same hype as — if not more than — the 4 Nations Face-Off.
You don’t want this kind of glory, NBA?

Come on, NBA! Give us a damn international tournament!
