Super Bowl champion … a true soldier of Jesus Christ … Harrison Butker is a gem!

Back in May 2024, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker delivered a commencement speech that caused quite the whirlwind. As conservatives, we loved it, but the other side of the aisle wasn’t happy about it whatsoever. Hell, it created such a firestorm that the left-wing media is still questioning Butker nearly a year later, and just days before the Super Bowl at that.

The commencement speech from Butker, which he gave at Benedictine College, took jabs at then-President Joe Biden and Pride Month, as well as other hot-button issues. But the topic that created the most fury from lefties was Butker’s thoughts on women, praising them as mothers, wives and “homemakers.”

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you,” said Butker. “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. “I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all. Homemaker.”

The speech was brought back up Monday during the opening night of Super Bowl week when he was asked by a reporter about it. And in response, Butker gloriously stuck to his guns and was completely unapologetic.

“It opened up a lot of good conversations and a lot of guys had different opinions about it, but we all love each other in that locker room, and we all know who we are, and I think all the guys understood where I was coming from,” said Butker. “I know they respect me and respect what I have to say. I got nothing to apologize for.”
