‘I love being part of that whole Darth Vader myth’

American actor James Earl Jones, best known for being the voice of the Star Wars villain Darth Vader, has died aged 93.

In a BBC HardTalk interview in January 2012, the Oscar-winner laughed when host Steven Sackur asked him if he resented being so closely tied with the Star Wars character.

Jones also discussed discovering his iconic, booming voice as a teenager, after he was unable to speak for much of his childhood due to a stammer.
