Sofia Richie just confirmed what we already know — Hollyweird is real.
The model and social media personality revealed that her five-month-old daughter Eloise has her very own iPhone and she uses it to engage in conversations on her kids’ behalf. Richie made the revelation while appearing on the Nov. 14 episode of the “Therapuss” podcast with host Jake Shane.
I’m going out on a limb here, but I don’t think the infant can text, so the translation here is that the 26-year-old exchanges fake conversations while pretending to be her own baby. Richie seemed impressed with herself as she discussed a bizarre text conversation that “her daughter” had with Shane, which frankly made me take two steps back to distance myself rom this insanity.
Shane referred to Eloise’s device as a “little baby phone” and went on to excitedly share the details of a text conversation he had with the infant.
“Eloise has a little baby phone, that we get to text, or I like to text,” Shane said, begore adding, “And I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!’”
Richie chimed in to say, “So whoever is with Eloise gets the phone. So, at that very moment, Ali was sitting with Eloise.”
Shane relayed the details of the conversation that seemed to have captivated him.
“I said, ‘Eloise do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No. Keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you,’” he said.
This bizarre discussion continued as Richie pretended she reasoned with her infant after the conversation.
“We had a talking,” she said.
“Eloise has a little bit of an attitude,” Shane replied.
Let’s wind this back a bit. This kid is going to grow up and see these weird texts, knowing that people pretended to be her? This would only happen in Hollywood.
I thought it was odd to buy a phone for the infant child. The role playing and fake conversations sound completely unhinged. (RELATED: Kim Kardashian’s Entitled Kid Is Already Threatening To Sue People At Age 11)
While the rest of the world struggles to tackle real issues, we’ll leave Richie to her fake-texting and make-believe world, and we’ll be here to support Eloise when she tries to break away from this crazy scene. Perhaps Richie can text a therapist so that there’s someone on-call to help her child in the future.
Richie had Eloise with Elliot Grainge, her husband.
