The internet took aim at Sean Penn’s disheveled and unkempt appearance after he slammed President Donald Trump in an interview.
The famous actor sported a busted nose, messy hair and a very aged appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast.
The 64-year-old appeared to have made no attempt to tame his full head of grey hair. His scruffy look, paired with his comments about the president, quickly became the butt of many jokes.

Penn puffed away on cigarettes during the interview, and at one point he complimented Trump. Penn admitted he had met Trump “briefly” years ago.
“I think people will look back and see that he was extremely smart for his time and what it valued,” Penn said.
The compliment was short-lived, however, and was soon followed by a myriad of criticisms.
“But what he values is so base,” Penn asserted.
“I won’t equate that with intelligence,” he continued. “It’s truly void of soul. And really — this is the other thing — it actively engages in cruelty often.”
The actor’s comments quickly triggered a flurry of responses on social media. Some claimed he was not qualified to comment, and others mocked his overall appearance and approach to the interview.
“Sean you’ve turned out to be a bitter disappointment, and by the looks of it, you’re the one without soul,” one person wrote on X. “Just shut your mouth and do what you do best–LIE.”
“Dude who hospitalized his wife and sued anyone that tried exposing it thinks Trump is a bad guy. Fascinating,” another person quipped.
“Another Leftie washed up Hollyweird has-been looking for publicity in the autumn of his overrated career,” someone else posted.

“An actors opinion of anything is at best of little worth,” another commenter added.
“Sean Penn, a Man so drugged out and lived a life of degeneracy for over 3 decades has an opinion… still grasping for some kind of resemblance and relevance in a cult of deprivation,” a X user opined.
They were not alone in their harsh criticism of Penn’s appearance and commentary.
“Dang he aged like a worn leather handbag,” someone else noted.
“I can’t listen to people who have advanced TDS,” one X user admitted.
