We all saw this coming, and now it’s official.
Following a ruptured Achilles injury during Sunday’s 21-14 defeat against the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has seen his season come to an end, according to an announcement from the team Monday.
After he left the game, the immediate fear from the Browns was that Watson had an Achilles injury, and following an MRI that took place Monday, the skepticism was confirmed. Watson is required to undergo surgery with Dr. Neal ElAttrache being the one who will repair his ruptured Achilles, according to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kat Cabot.
The 29-year-old is currently going over a technique labeled as “speed bridge,” with New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers doing the same thing during the 2023 campaign. Rodgers was able to rejoin the Jets and practice with the team 77 days following his surgery.

As a Miami Dolphins fan, it can be a life of misery, but there’s something that I like to remind myself of when I do get down: At least we’re not the Cleveland Browns or the New York Jets.
And with the latter, not only do I hate them as a rival, but those little pricks lost me money Sunday night with their horrendous play, and speaking of:
My #PrizePicks slip for the Monday Night Football game tonight between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens.
The lines have it being a high-scoring game (the over is set at 50 at Hard Rock). Plus, AI has everybody hitting their overs.

I’m about to drop the slip for the Los Angeles Chargers-Arizona Cardinals game, so stay tuned.
