As a Heat fan, I’m disgusted with Jimmy.
The Miami Heat hit washed up superstar Jimmy Butler with a two-game suspension Wednesday night.
“We have suspended Jimmy Butler for two games for [a] continued pattern of disregard of team rules, insubordinate conduct and conduct detrimental to the team, including missing today’s team flight to Milwaukee,” reads a statement from the Heat. After he missed a flight with the team, Butler had plans Wednesday night to join Miami, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. After being suspended, the Heat won’t have Butler for their road trip when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a Thursday contest followed by Saturday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.
Butler just recently came back from a seven-game suspension from Miami over “multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team.”
“Through his actions and statements, he has shown he no longer wants to be part of this team,” reads a statement from the Heat after Butler was suspended for the first time. “Jimmy Butler and his representative have indicated that they wish to be traded, therefore, we will listen to offers.”
