Excuse my language… But you’re being a little b*tch, Jimmy.
The Miami Heat have once again slapped their washed up superstar Jimmy Butler with a suspension, doing so indefinitely this time. For weeks now, the cupcake diva has been demanding a trade out of South Beach, but no deal has yet to get done because the Heat want actual pieces for the six-time NBA All-Star. (Fair enough)
Butler has already served suspensions on two prior occasions here in the 2024-25 campaign, with both being due to “conduct detrimental to the team.” One of those suspensions was at the beginning of Jan. for seven games, which followed his trade demand. The other was a two-game ban after he missed a flight with the team. (RELATED: Things Get Heated Between Co-Hosts Of ‘Inside The NBA’ After Debate Breaks Out Over Heat’s Jimmy Butler)
Well, now Jimmy has been hit with an indefinite suspension, receiving the punishment after he reportedly walked out of a Miami shooting practice following him finding out that he was going to be benched for teammate Haywood Highsmith. And to make it even worse for Jimmy, he’s losing a ton of money off this ban.
With each game that he doesn’t play, Jimmy will lose a whopping $532,737, meaning that he will miss an incredible $5.7 million of his $48.8 million salary this season.
“The Miami Heat are suspending Jimmy Butler without pay effective immediately for an indefinite period to last no fewer than five games,” read a statement from the Heat. “The suspension is due to a continued pattern of disregard of team rules, engaging in conduct detrimental to the team and intentionally withholding services. This includes walking out of practice earlier today.”
