Kansas, Alabama, UConn, Houston Lead The Way In AP Top 25 Preseason College Basketball Poll

The disrespect to UConn is REAL!

Kansas was placed at the No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 preseason men’s college basketball poll that was released Monday, taking 30 of the 60 ballots that were voted on by a national media panel to begin their season. They’re put above Alabama and back-to-back defending national champion UConn.

Closing out the top 10 is Duke (No. 7), Baylor (No. 8), North Carolina (No. 9) and Arizona (No. 10).

Man, I can’t get over how people keep disrespecting UConn repeatedly. I mean, damn, you’re putting them at the No. 3 position? After back-to-back national championships?!

And on top of that, you have this going on with Kansas:

2023-24: 4 seed, lost in 2nd round
2018-19: 4 seed, lost in 2nd round
