A superfan of the Kansas City Chiefs branded “ChiefsAholic” was given a sentence Monday of 32 years in an Oklahoma prison, being issued this punishment in a state courthouse after he robbed a bank in the Tulsa area. The superfan will carry out the sentence after his current one in federal prison ends.
30-year-old Xaviar Babudar made an appearance in a courtroom in Tulsa where he gave an apology to both victims and the court. The robbery took place at the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union (Bixby, Oklahoma) in Dec. 2022, per Babudar’s lawyer Jay-Michael Swab. “He expressed sincere remorse and took full responsibility for his actions,” said Swab.
Prior to the sentence, Babudar was already serving over 17 years in federal prison for pulling off 11 bank robberies in seven different states. Those crime scenes saw Babudar steal around $850,000, which was used to fund his social media fame. Swab also says that the robberies had to do with Babudar’s addiction to gambling.

Steve Kunzweiler, the Tulsa County District Attorney, had attempted to give Babudar a life sentence.
“He is a serial robber who traumatized these victims and numerous other victims across this country,” said Kunzweiler in an official statement.
