Everything is out of funk right now in Southern California — just ask Kawhi Leonard.
The superstar of the Los Angeles Clippers is leaving the franchise to help his family as they continue to deal with the raging wildfires affecting LA and its surrounding areas, NBA insider Chris Hayes said Wednesday.
Since Tuesday afternoon, multiple wildfires have raged throughout Southern California. According to statistics, the Pacific Palisades fire has hit the mark for causing the most destruction in the history of the city. “He is going to tend to family in the LA area who were forced to evacuate due to the wildfires that’s going on over there,” said in a video on social media.
Just making his season debut Saturday after being out for nine months with a knee injury, Leonard is a native to Los Angeles.
