The line-up for next year’s Download festival has been announced – with headliners Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn joined by pop favourites McFly.

It is the first time any of the three headliners have topped the bill at the rock gathering.

Other acts announced include Cradle of Filth, The Darkness, Jimmy Eat World and Weezer.

The festival is due to take place at Donington Park, Leicestershire, between 13 and 15 June.

The line-up was announced at a launch event in London on Tuesday night.

Other acts due to perform include Bullet For My Valentine, Don Broco, Sex Pistols, Alien Ant Farm, Spiritbox, Poppy and CKY.

Festival booker Andy Copping said the 22nd edition of Download would have “something for truly everyone”.
