You know what they say: A win is a win.
The Detroit Lions pulled out an absolutely incredible 26-23 victory against the Houston Texans in a “Sunday Night Football” contest, so incredible that it left fans shocked. And this is because of Lions quarterback Jared Goff throwing a whopping FIVE interceptions. Still, Detroit managed to make a comeback. Jake Bates, the kicker of the Lions, nailed a mammoth 58-yard field goal that put the game at 23-23 with 5:01 left on the clock. And then later in the contest, he hit another long shot (52 yards) for the game-winner, and in walk-off fashion at that.
It was an unbelievable win for Detroit, one that shot them up to 9-1 (seven straight wins) on the campaign. And one that saw Goff make horrendously amazing history, because get this: He’s only the fourth quarterback ever in the entire history of the league to throw five interceptions and still lead his team to a road victory, according to ESPN Research.

These most certainly aren’t your daddy’s Detroit Lions!
I mean, damn, not only do these boys know how to win, but they know how to do it in comeback fashion as well. And on top of that, their quarterback isn’t the only one making history for the franchise, the team overall is doing it as well.
