This doesn’t happen without Bryson DeChambeau. Point, blank, period.

LIV Golf has had one hell of a journey when it comes to their television situation. They went from exclusively streaming on social media to upgrading a little bit by broadcasting on CW Network, and now the league has really scored with a multi-year contract with FOX. Oh yeah, these boys have come a long way.

Announcing the move Thursday, LIV Golf and FOX Sports have come to an agreement on a multi-year media rights deal that will provide live coverage to viewers in the United States in a more mainstream way. The broadcasting officially gets started in February when the campaign kicks off in Saudi Arabia. With each tournament, all three rounds will be aired across all of FOX’s networks. Over half of LIV‘s schedule will be featured on either FOX or FS1, while other rounds will be on FS2, FOX Business Network and the FOX Sports app.

“FOX Sports is excited to broadcast the LIV Golf League, showcasing athletes at the top of their game competing at an elite level for viewers across the nation,” said FOX Sports Executive Vice President Jordan Bazant. “The addition of LIV Golf is a natural fit for FOX Sports’ prominent slate of big events, world-class names and premium sports coverage.”

LIV doesn’t land this deal without the hype train of American icon Bryson DeChambeau — no way. All the credit should go to him, and it does in my book.

But still though, good stuff, LIV! I look forward to watching on FOX this season! It’s some exciting stuff!
