Two dumb and dumber Democrats may have accidentally revealed the long-sought-after strategy for the party that could deliver the House and Senate in 2026 and the White House in 2028.

No, Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett and the DNC’s vice-chair, David Hogg, know that boring policy debates about taxes and Tim Walz pheasant hunts won’t win back straight white men, the demographic they threw away to President Donald Trump and Republicans.
They need to give straight white men what they want: a straight white male candidate and, perhaps more importantly, the opportunity to get laid.
Crockett revealed the first strategic prong on a podcast. “It is, it is this fear that the people within the party, within the primary system, will have about voting for a woman because every time we voted for a woman, we’ve lost,” Crockett said, adding, “I think that that’s a natural fear because we just want to win. So there’s a lot of people that are like, you know what? Like, let’s go find the safest white boy we can find.”
The congresswoman went on to reveal that top Democratic donors already have their checkbooks open for one of these “safe white boys,” saying, “there is one specific candidate. I had a donor on the phone with me telling me that all the donors are lining up behind that candidate. So I can tell, and I tell you, it’s not a black person, nor a woman, OK?”
Not a black person. Not a woman. In other words, not Kamala Harris. That alone is a decent start, but Crockett and the bigwigs know it can’t be AOC, either. They need to be straighter. Whiter. Safer. Gavin Newsom?
Later on Friday, Hogg dropped by Bill Maher’s show, revealing the second strategic prong.

“What I think happened last election is younger men — they would rather vote for somebody who they don’t completely agree with, they don’t feel judged by, than somebody who they do agree with, that they feel like they have to walk on eggshells around constantly,” Hogg told the panel.
“Young people should be able to focus on what young people should be focused on, which is how to get laid and how to go and have fun,” he added.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and what young men need today more than ever, more than secure jobs and affordable homes, is more drunken hookups, and the mentorship of the Democratic Party and famed pickup artist David Hogg.

If the Crockett/Hogg vision for the Democratic Party comes to fruition, Republicans are in big trouble. They better hope Democrats don’t start taking Crockett and Hogg seriously.
