Damn, the NFL is cutthroat, and here’s another example.
It appears that wide receiver Cooper Kupp‘s time with the Los Angeles Rams could be coming to an end. According to a report Monday from The Athletic, Los Angeles is speaking with several franchises about the possibility of trading Kupp, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and former Super Bowl MVP for the Rams.
Already making numerous phone calls to exchange Kupp, the Rams want a second-round pick for the 31-year-old’s services. In fact, Los Angeles is so inclined to move Kupp that they’re even willing to pay some of his 2024 salary to make sure a deal gets done.

We all know what this is about … Money.
According to Spotrac, Kupp is slated to make $9.1 million in guaranteed money in the 2024 campaign in his current contract, and here’s what Los Angeles is trying to avoid: a $20 million salary in 2025 and another $20 mill ($19.85 million to be exact) in 2026.
Business is business, and that’s exactly what this situation is.
