This World Series is gonna be an absolute banger!
The Los Angeles Dodgers clobbered the New York Mets to get a 10-5 home victory Sunday night, winning their 25th National League pennant in franchise history. The series, a best of seven, ended in six games with the boys in blue winning four games to the Metropolitans’ two.
Los Angeles shortstop Tommy Edman led the way for the Dodgers, putting 4 RBIs on the board while knocking a home run and double. And to make it even more impressive, this all took place prior to the fifth inning. Facing a deficit of 6-1, the Mets attempted to pull a comeback by scoring two runs in the fourth inning, however, superstar Shohei Ohtani extended the lead for the Dodgers when he got an RBI in the sixth. And though New York managed to get another run in the seventh, Los Angeles rolled from there.
The Dodgers now square off against the New York Yankees in the World Series, doing so for the first time in 43 years (1981). Game 1 is Friday.

Originally, I wanted a Subway Series between the Mets and Yankees, but I certainly don’t mind Dodgers and Yankees instead — something I’ve been wanting to see for years now.
I honestly thought we’d never get here with the way both teams choke, but here we are, and here we go!
