Wait, what? (LMAO)
FanDuel has slapped a sports bettor with a ban after he published footage of himself heckling Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas during a track event recently, claiming that “it made my parlay win.”
Taking to Twitter, Thomas wrote that the unidentified individual “followed me around the track as I took pictures and signed autographs for fans (mostly children) shouting personal insults” during the Grand Slam Track event that took place in Philadelphia.
In an official statement, Grand Slam Track said that they have launched a “full investigation into the reprehensible behavior captured on video,” per ESPN.
“We are working to identify the individual involved and will take appropriate action as necessary,” stated Grand Slam Track. “We will implement additional safeguards to help prevent incidents like this in the future. Let us be clear, despicable behavior like this will not be tolerated.” (RELATED: Phil Mickelson Reacts To His Hometown Of San Diego Being Taken Over By Literal Poo)
Going by the name “mr100kaday” on Twitter and branding himself as “The Track and Field Bully,” the gambler published the footage of him heckling Thomas prior to the 100-meter race, doing so beside a screenshot of a FanDuel parlay that he bet $1,000 on.
“I made Gabby lose by heckling her. And it made my parlay win,” wrote the social media user.
FanDuel stated that they let the customer know that he was banned from their service.
“FanDuel condemns in the strongest terms abusive behavior directed towards athletes,” said a FanDuel spokesperson in an official statement that was sent to ESPN. “Threatening or harassing athletes is unacceptable and has no place in sports. This customer is no longer able to wager with FanDuel.”
This grown man followed me around the track as I took pictures and signed autographs for fans (mostly children) shouting personal insults- anybody who enables him online is gross https://t.co/f9a6vPkX0v

I’m sorry, but I don’t see anything but a good hustle from the sports bettor … kudos, sir.
