Rockies, Marlins, South Beach … this was bound to happen.

Two of the worst clubs in Major League Baseball squared off Monday night, and not just that, but did so in a ballpark that’s easily one of the least popular in the entire sport. So it shouldn’t be shocking that the attendance was absolutely ATROCIOUS.

The worst team in the league, Colorado Rockies, played the last-place NL East team in the Miami Marlins at their loanDepot Park in Game 1 of a three-game series Monday night. Yeah, not exactly the most popcorn-popping match. (RELATED: We Should Be Rooting For Texas Rangers To Win World Series After Being Only One To Resist Pride Month)

And that’s exactly what the good people of South Florida thought, as almost nobody showed up to the game. And I’m being literal, it was that bad. It was so bad, that it had photos and videos of the scenes go viral, it’s insane!

Just check out these embarrassing views, linked here.

Apparently, the attendance of the game ended up being 5,894, per Sports Illustrated, but I refuse to believe that. Like seriously, does it look like 5,000 people are sitting in that stadium?

Hell no, and I have every reason to be biased in the direction of Miami, but no, this is terrible. But when you have this view

…why the hell would you want to go to a Rockies-Marlins game?
