I don’t usually agree with Martina, but when I do…
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova might be a Democrat, and pretty far to the left at that, but she does go against their ignorant party line on one thing. In fact, she disagrees with it so much that she’s on the side of common sense, and I’m talking about the issue surrounding transgender athletes ruining female sports.
Navratilova actually had to compete against a transgender person herself in the 1970s, doing so against Renee Richards. Navratilova managed to beat Richards, but the victory came with a battle despite the fact that Richards was 43 years old and Navratilova was right in her prime. Once declaring transgender athletes as blatant “cheaters,” Navratilova is back at it, this time against her own party. She replied to a Twitter post from Republican South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace, who was holding a shirt that read “Save Women’s Sports.”
“And I am so mad that the Republicans captured this issue- shame on all the elected Democrats who keep silent on this!!! #whataboutthewomen,” wrote Navratilova.

I think it’s funny how Martina Navratilova actually thought that Democrats would capture the issue of transgender athletes …
