‘Max, You Wanted Me Fired’: Eagles’ Nick Sirianni Calls Out Barstool Sports’ Max Dolente To His Face ‘Max, You Wanted Me Fired’: Eagles’ Nick Sirianni Calls Out Barstool Sports’ Max Dolente To His Face

Called that ass out!

After getting off to a rough 2-2 start which featured a 33-16 blowout defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Philadelphia Eagles floored it from there and went on to win Super Bowl LIX. Early season hiccups sometimes happen, so what the Eagles went through is nothing new. It’s all about how you finish.

With that being said, it’s hard to tell fans this when they’re in the middle of things and being emotional while at it, —that’s just a part of fandom. Just ask Barstool Sports producer and Philadelphia fan Max Dolente. (RELATED: President Trump’s Grandson Chops It Up With Couple Of NFL Stars — Can Life Get Any Cooler For The First Family?)

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has been making the rounds since winning a ring, with his latest stop being at Barstool’s “Pardon My Take.” During the interview, Dolente got the chance to talk to Sirianni, but he ended up getting called out in the process.

“Max, you wanted me fired,” said Siranni after Dolente was clearly looking for credit for not hassling the head coach for a photo after his Super Bowl win.

And boy oh boy, the comedy.

Dolente denied the claim but gave a little after getting pushback. “People in Philly, you know, sometimes we get overemotional and we say things that we don’t mean,” he admitted.

I can’t say much — Nick Sirianni would probably flame me too for some of the stuff that I’ve said in the past. At one point, I thought he was a dead man walking, and now he’s a Super Bowl champion.

That’s sports in a nutshell.
