Here we go again with this one…
A disgraced former member of the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT), Megan Rapinoe is back in our lives spewing utter nonsense, this time coming to the defense of soccer player Barbra Banda. If you don’t know who Banda is, the BBC recently named her “Women’s Footballer of the Year,” and this despite Banda failing a sex eligibility test.
Presumably the BBC decided this was more time efficient than going door to door to spit directly in women’s faces. https://t.co/JGGdIVxYNB

After Banda failed to meet the requirements for sex eligibility, the 24-year-old decided to withdraw from the Zambian national squad that was set to play in the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Female players that are eligible can’t “show any perceived deviation in secondary sex characteristics and are therefore presumed to be of female gender,” per the African Soccer Federation (CAF).
Sydney Mungala, the federation communications director, gave an explanation that stated that Zambia was informed of Banda potentially being ineligible because of her testosterone levels being heightened while the 2022 tournament was happening. Reportedly offered medicine to bring down those levels, Banda declined. Now that we’re caught up, here’s where Megan Rapinoe comes into the picture, absolutely praising Banda for winning the BBC’s “Women’s Footballer of the Year.”
“You’ve thrilled, entertained and inspired us, and the world, all year long,” wrote Rapinoe on her Instagram story Friday, according to Goal.com. “This is so deserved as is every bit of your success. You stand so much taller than the tiny people trying to tear you down.”

And to think Banda is here in America creating chaos being a member of the NWSL’s Orlando Pride. She has the second-most goals in the league this season.
