First lady Melania Trump debuted a fresh new look and stole the show at Thursday’s congressional picnic.
She debuted fresh blonde highlights and elevated her crisp white button-up shirt with a pair of bold, floral-print pants. Adding a pop of color, she stepped out in striking hot pink heels. Walking side by side with President Donald Trump onto the Truman Balcony, she gazed out over the crowd of eager attendees who gathered to take in the sights and hear the president speak.
It was not just Melania’s glowing appearance that commanded attention — her confident look was met with much adoration from the president.
Trump gushed over his wife’s hard work, at one point joking that she had the capability of taking over his job.
Melania ultimately took center stage as Trump touted her success.
“I am delighted to welcome all the beautiful members of the House and Senate and your beautiful families,” Trump said. “It’s a great honor to have you at the White House.
“I want to thank our magnificent first lady for putting together this wonderful evening,” he added.
The crowd clapped for her as the president affectionately touched his wife’s arm. She appeared to quietly say “thank you” as she soaked in the compliments.

The president credited Melania for her dedication to the revenge porn bill called the “Take It Down Act” and sang her praises.
The bill was signed into law by Trump May 19, making it illegal to post real or AI-generated deepfake sexual content online without the consent of the other individual.
Congress passed the bill in a bipartisan manner, and the president seized the opportunity to quip about Melania’s seemingly natural knack at politics.

“When I saw that bill pass, bipartisan, I said, ‘You know, I think you’re gonna take my job Melania’ … we don’t get so much bipartisan,” Trump said.
Melania didn’t publicize the fashion brand she was wearing, but we have a hunch we’ll be seeing her donning more of their designs.
