“Praise the Lord,” tweeted Boggs, posting a video of him at the hospital. The Red Sox icon also gave the medical personnel that worked on him some love as well on Twitter.

“An extremely emotional day,” wrote Boggs in a Feb. 17 post.
“I can’t thank my doctor’s Dr. Engleman and Dr. Heidenberg enough also to everyone for your thoughts and prayers Debbie and I are pleased to announce I am cancer free.”

Oh man … shoutout to Wade Boggs.
I can’t lie, the thought of having cancer terrifies me. I just know I’d be a shivering b*tch if I ever had to deal with any of what Boggs had to go through.
I always admire people who brave out cancer, I couldn’t even imagine the feeling of having it, but some people (like Wade) tend to handle things very well. And somebody like me, somebody who God knows wouldn’t be able to handle any of that, can’t help but to watch in admiration.
RING THE BELL, BABY! RING THE BELL!
